About Course
Covid-19 is a disease caused by a new corona virus called Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The virus first emerged in Wuhan, China in late 2019 and has since spread throughout the world, causing a global pandemic. Covid-19 can be transmitted from person to person through small droplets that come out of the nose or mouth when an infected person coughs, sneezes or talks. Transmission can also occur through physical contact with a surface contaminated with the virus, which a person then touches and enters the body when touching the face.
Prevention of Covid-19 involves measures such as washing hands regularly with soap, maintaining physical distance, wearing a mask, and avoiding crowds. A Covid-19 vaccine has also been developed and is recommended as an important preventive measure.
